🍣 Menu & Dietary Requirements
How do you handle food allergies and dietary needs? Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements both when you book and when you arrive at the restaurant. Our team will happily guide you through suitable dishes and alternatives. You can also review our up-to-date allergen matrix on our menu page.
Is there a risk of cross-contamination? While we take exceptional care in our food preparation, our kitchen handles a wide range of allergens. Because of this, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. If you have a severe allergy, please exercise caution and ask to speak with the duty manager upon arrival.
Do you offer gluten-free options? Yes! We offer several gluten-free choices and can provide gluten-free soy alternatives upon request. Simply look for the GF symbol on our menu or ask your server for recommendations.
Do you serve vegan and vegetarian dishes? Absolutely. We have a fantastic variety of plant-forward dishes available. We can also modify many of our existing menu items to suit a vegan or vegetarian diet—just ask!
Is your menu Halal? We are not a halal-certified restaurant, and we do serve alcohol and some pork products. However, we offer an extensive selection of fish, seafood, vegetarian, and vegan dishes. If you prefer alcohol-free sauces with your meal, please let your server know.
What should I know about your raw fish dishes? We proudly use high-quality, sushi-grade fish. However, please be aware that consuming raw or undercooked seafood may increase your risk of foodborne illness. Please decide what is best for your personal health needs.
📅 Reservations & Seating
Do you accept walk-ins? Walk-ins are always welcome! If the restaurant is full when you arrive, we will gladly add you to our waiting list.
What happens if I am running late for my reservation? We hold tables for 15 minutes past the reservation time. If you know you are going to be delayed, please give us a call. We will do our absolute best to seat you as soon as possible, subject to availability.
What are the different seating options at SushiGarden? Our full menu is available in all seated areas. Depending on the restaurant’s layout, options may include:
Dining Room: Relaxed table seating perfect for couples, families, and friends.
Chef’s Counter: High stools facing the open kitchen for a front-row view of our chefs at work.
Bar Seats: Ideal for a quick bite or enjoying solo sushi with a drink.
The Terrace: Open during fair-weather months for outdoor dining.
Can I request a specific table? We always try our best to honor your seating preferences! However, final table allocation happens upon arrival and cannot be absolutely guaranteed.
What happens to my Terrace booking if it rains? Terrace seating is weather-dependent and exposed to the elements. During adverse weather, we cannot guarantee an indoor table to reallocate you to, but our team will do everything possible to accommodate you inside.
👨👩👧👦 Families, Groups & Policies
Are children welcome at SushiGarden? Yes, guests of all ages are welcome! When booking, please include babies in your total guest count and let us know if you will need a highchair or space for a pushchair. We also have a special kids’ menu available upon request.
Can guests under 18 dine alone? All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Group bookings featuring young diners are subject to our standard group policies.
Is there a dress code? We have no formal dress code. Come as you are!
Do you require a deposit for bookings? For peak calendar dates (such as New Year’s Eve or Valentine’s Day), we may require a deposit of £20 per person. This deposit is deducted from your final bill. Our standard cancellation window for a full refund is 24 hours.
Can you accommodate large groups or private events? We love hosting celebrations!
Groups (7+ guests): Large parties may require a deposit and a pre-order or fixed menu.
Private & Semi-Private Events: We are happy to host your next celebration or corporate meal. Please contact us to discuss private dining options.
